The Florida Museum of Natural History was a large part of Brittnie and Vernon’s love story. It’s where they had their first date, and it’s also where Vernon proposed. Their first look was in the gift shop where they first met!
Brittnie wore her mother’s lace veil that matched perfectly to her off white gown with a high collar. Her bouquet was made of handmade, fabric flowers and fluffy white ostrich feathers by an etsy.com company, Hair Bows Wonderworld in England.
There were several live butterfly releases throughout the day, so it was really active during the ceremony inside the Butterfly Rainforest! The wedding was serene with the gushing waterfall in the background and tons of butterflies and birds fluttering about.
The butterfly themed DIY centerpieces & table card tree turned out beautifully.
Vernon & Brittnie’s wedding cake, by Ms Debbie’s Sugar Art, was the perfect compliment to the venue. The groom’s cake was coconut with their monogram on top, made by a parent of one of Brittnie’s students.
